At Earth Coaching, the heart of what I offer is grounded in connection — to yourself, to what really matters, and to the natural world around us. Coaching outdoors is a gentle but powerful way to support your wellbeing, especially if you're neurodivergent or managing a chronic illness.
Modern life can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re living with chronic illness or navigating neurodiversity. Sometimes, sitting still in a room — even virtually — can make it harder to open up or feel grounded. That’s why I offer something a little different: coaching outdoors, wherever you are.
Nature has a way of calming the nervous system, lifting the fog, and helping us feel more present. When we step outside — even just for a short while — we begin to move differently, think differently, and feel more resourced. That’s why this approach fits so naturally with the values of Earth Coaching: it’s holistic, person-centred, and honours the mind–body connection.
Whether you’re navigating stress, burnout, overwhelm, or simply seeking a deeper connection with yourself and the natural world, Earth Coaching® offers a unique approach that blends the healing power of nature with compassionate, personalised support.
‘Walk and Talk’ Nature Coaching
Our outdoor coaching sessions can be done in person or remotely.
In-person sessions take place in some of Southend’s most beautiful and tranquil locations, offering you the perfect environment to explore your inner landscape and find the balance you seek.
I also offer a more flexible approach, where you can join a nature ‘Walk and Talk’ by phone from anywhere in the UK, which gives you more autonomy. You can book your coaching session as a nature ‘Walk and Talk’, but if on the day you wake up with low energy or pain, you will always have the option to join online via Google Meet.

What is 'Walk and Talk' Coaching?
It’s coaching, but not as you know it. This walk-and-talk approach is designed to feel lighter, calmer, and more natural — while still supporting deep insight and meaningful change.
We both head outdoors and connect whilst we walk in nature. Sessions can be walking together in gorgeous locations around Southend-on-Sea, or you in your part of the world, me in mine and we talk over the phone, with earphones in, whilst walking in nature.
Whether you walk along a coastal path, through a city park, or just around the block, the combination of gentle movement and natural surroundings often helps thoughts to flow more freely.
You don’t need to be super fit or head out on a long hike. This is about meeting yourself where you are — emotionally and physically. You can just sit on a bench outside, or pace yourself and take rest stops now and again.

Why nature?
Did you know that spending just 15 minutes a day in nature is all you need to improve your mental wellness, physical wellbeing, enhance mood, and aid with concentration?
Research shows that immersion in nature can reduce stress, ease anxiety, improve mood, and support clearer thinking. Just being outside — hearing birdsong, feeling the breeze, noticing trees and sky — has measurable effects on our nervous systems and mental wellbeing.
For many of us, nature offers a kind of steadying that’s hard to find elsewhere. When combined with coaching, it can be a powerful tool for growth and healing.
It doesn’t need to be somewhere far from home, or a great trek up a hill (unless you would like to do that!) Simply sitting in your garden, on a park bench, on the grass in a space nearby or at your local beach, short bursts of nature can make us more grounded, present and improve mental health.

I work with neurodivergent people, those navigating chronic illness and LGBTQ+ folks — those who may not feel at home in typical coaching spaces. Coaching outdoors offers more space — literally and emotionally — with fewer walls, and the chance to move at your own pace.

If you work from home and spend lots of time using a screen, an outdoor coaching session, where you pop on your headphones and get outdoors, can reduce eye strain and back ache too. For those who find face-to-face or video calls overwhelming, this method of coaching may be easier for you.

Who Can Benefit?
Our outdoor coaching is particularly beneficial for neurodivergent and chronically ill individuals, including those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, high sensitivity (HSP), and chronic conditions, like Long Covid, ME / CFS (chronic fatigue syndrome) and chronic pain.
Neurodivergent individuals often find the natural environment soothing and less overwhelming than traditional settings, which supports sensory processing and emotional regulation. For ADHD clients, getting regular new visual input and being able to physically move can also help focus in the sessions.
For those with chronic illnesses, the flexibility of outdoor coaching allows for pacing, with the opportunity to move and rest as needed, ensuring that the sessions are both restorative and empowering.
